Columbus, OH (December 7, 2010) –SBC Advertising is celebrating for the third year in a row thanks to the readers of Columbus C.E.O. magazine who have once again voted SBC as "Best Ad Agency" in the annual "Best of Business" poll. SBC was also singled out as one of the city's best public relations firms and best employers, as the agency was ranked second in both categories.
"The advertising business is filled with award competitions, but winning "best" recognition from business leaders is way up there on the list," said Neil Widerschein, SBC chief creative officer. "It's a great validation of our retail-rooted approach to marketing problem-solving."
Columbus C.E.O. is a monthly magazine that targets central Ohio business professionals. Each year, the magazine asks its readers to vote for the best business products and services in 70 categories. From these categories, the "Best of Business" list was generated.
Also on the "Best of Business" list were SBC clients Worthington Industries, Huntington Bank and Schottenstein Zox & Dunn. For the third year in a row, Worthington Industries won in the "Best Manufacturing Company" category, while Huntington National Bank beat out the competition in the "Best Bank" category. Earning three places on the list was Schottenstein Zox & Dunn, who won in the "Best Law Firm," "Best Litigation Firm" and "Best Employer" categories.
